Easy to an schedule appointment. Good communication back on the estimate for repairs. Nice that payment can be done on the phone, so it's quick to pick the car back up when repairs are completed.

I’ve taken my car here 2 different times on the recommendation from a reputable repair shop closer to where I live that was booked full at the time. They have been able to easily diagnose my cars issues and fix them quickly. They also were able to work with me while I was trying to scrape the money together for the major fix I needed and I thought that was really nice of them. Will 100% recommend to any of my friends with car issues in the future!

I had an unexpected (aren't they all?) breakdown halfway through a 5 hour trip and after spending almost 3 hours on the side of the road calling different repair shops within a 50 mile radius, as I was stuck someplace pretty remote, I found Bob's Lil Car Hospital. They were the only place I called that was willing to even entertain the possibility of getting the car back on the road by the next day and it wasn't an easy fix. These people were angels from start to finish, they even gave me a ride to AND from my hotel, I was going to walk but they offered first. They explained what was needing the be fixed, why, and how critical it was or wasn't to continuing my trip in a very clear, forthright manner. So if you find yourself in Kelso, WA or 50 miles from it and in need of car repair, call these folks, they will treat you right. Thank you so very, very much all of you good people at Bob's!

Extremely over price for power steering pump replacement. They charged me over 3 times the amount I could have gotten the same part at NAPA. But the oil change was priced reasonable. I'm not using them again.

Dear Kevin, Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. After investing, I found you are absolutely right, I isolated the problem to an error in the pricing matrix with our supplier which they corrected right away. Again, thank you for taking the time to let us know of this problem.

Private telephone I got charged for three Diagnostics because they refused to do everything I asked them to check in one diagnostic. I told them what I wanted fixed even though I knew how much it would cost. They said they couldn't in good conscious do it despite the fact that I wanted it done. But in good conscience they could charge me three diagnostics for the same visit. After they had charged me for a couple Diagnostics and a previous visit. They knew going in what I wanted them to check but they couldn't do it all in one because then they couldn't have charged me three. They pad their bill. The first time I took it there was happy and I think that's how they get you in. One big scam

Dear Jean, let's get a little background for the audience. You brought in your 2007 Nissan Quest with three concerns: The air conditioning was blowing warm, the front heater fan didn't work and the transmission was shifting hard. In an effort to be completely transparent we charged you for the three different systems testing and analysis. We found the AC system completely empty, and the discharge line had a very large leak. To repair/ replace the discharge line requires removing the dash which is very labor intensive, (about 5 hours) and due to the severity of the leak, we couldn't confirm if the AC compressor was operational. We would have to replace the bad discharge line and then test the AC compressor which if bad, your complete AC repairs would equal $3K-$4K . We found the transmission had an internal problem and will need to be repaired or replaced in the near future costing up to an additional $6.5K. On the front heater we isolated the problem to the front blower resistor which we replaced at your insistence. Your vehicle is 17 years old and in pretty rough condition valuing about $2,500 to $4,000. We have been in business for a very long time, and have seen too many people "throw good money after bad" repairing vehicles which really are not worth repairing (money/ investment wise.) We have a core value of integrity which means we treat all our clients like family members we love and care for. We do not feel right doing repairs on a vehicle when we know there will be more costly repairs needed in the near future. Our goal is to help our clients drive safe and reliable vehicles. Yes, we could have taken your money and done the repair to the air conditioning causing you to invest up to the value of the vehicle but when the transmission failed, you would be completely upside down in the vehicle financially. It is our sincere hope that in a year or so, you will realize that we really did have your best interest at heart when we decided to not do the repairs you requested. We wish you the best.
