I have been with lil car hospital way back when it was Bobs Lil Car Hospital. I have run thru about 6 cars thru for service of different types, General service, oil and inspection , Mechanical such as Rear End rebuilt, Turn ups , Vapor equipment change out by the gas tank. and other major repairs, At all times the Mechanic or people in the office explained what had to be done and why. They were very up front with us about the cost and why, No pressure just left it up to us to decide. They are and have been very friendly the present staff and the former staffs. who i miss a lot. I took my Range Rover in for a radiator hose repair. Brought it home and the car over heated again, they found another hose that needed repair, they attempted to upsale us for another, we said no. Then they called and said there was another hose that needed repair, we are now close to $3k

Can't comment on their work because I didn't hire them, but they did give me an estimate for a job that was almost $800 more than another shop. Needless to say, I opted to give the other shop my business and save the $800.

I had the absolute worst experience with Bob's Lil Car Hospital. My 17-year-old son took his car in to get some professional help with a major issue we were having. The car would constantly stall out and die, no matter what we did. We tried everything from getting new batteries to replacing the alternator, terminal leads, fuses, and relays, but nothing worked. We were at our wit's end, so we decided to take it to Bob's Lil Car Hospital, hoping they could finally figure out the problem. What a mistake that was! Not only did Bob try to cut corners, but his temporary fix didn't even hold up long enough for us to get the car back home. What's even worse is that when we contacted him about the issue, he refused to take any accountability for his shoddy work. He wouldn't even help us with the cost of getting the car towed back to his shop. Now, we're out $500, we still have no car, and we're no closer to figuring out what's wrong with it. It's beyond frustrating to have put all that time and effort into trying to fix the issue ourselves, only to have Bob's Lil Car Hospital make things even worse. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable mechanic who actually cares about his customers, Bob's is definitely not the place to go. Save yourself the hassle and find a different shop.
